Hi, I’m Patrick, the founder of DetailingSanctuary.

My journey into car detailing started at a young age as a genuine passion. What began as a hobby quickly turned into something more serious when I realised how much satisfaction I got from transforming neglected vehicles and seeing the reaction on a customer’s face when they say “Wow… it looks like it’s just come out of the showroom.” That feeling has never worn off.

DetailingSanctuary is now a full-time professional detailing and valeting business, built on passion, experience, and an obsessive attention to detail.

Passion Turned Professional

I’ve always loved cars, from modern performance cars like the Nissan 370Z Nismo, to icons like the GT-R and even classic luxury cars such as the BMW 850i. That passion carries through into every vehicle I work on, whether it’s a daily driver, a cherished weekend car, or a work vehicle.

Before launching DetailingSanctuary full-time, I came from an IT background working in cloud computing and server environments (yes… all that boring stuff 😉). While very different on the surface, it taught me how to be methodical, precise, and process-driven. Those skills translate perfectly into professional detailing, where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail matter.

​

Over the years, I’ve trained alongside multiple experienced detailers across the UK and have now worked on over 500 vehicles. While I specialise in paint correction and ceramic coatings, I also genuinely enjoy full restorations and heavy makeovers, especially cars that people think are beyond saving.

I love proving that there’s still hope for a neglected car.

How I Work

Every vehicle I work on is treated as if it were my own.

I focus on quality and convenience, never rushing a job and never cutting corners. Before any paintwork is carried out, I assess paint depth, condition, and manufacturer specifics to ensure everything is done safely and correctly.

 

I understand which compounds, techniques, and products work best on different paint systems and just as importantly, what not to do.

I stand firmly by my work. I don’t compete on being the cheapest, because I refuse to lower standards. What I do guarantee is that your vehicle will look its absolute best on the street when I’m finished same goes with Mobile Valeting.

I’m based in Wolverhampton and operate as a fully mobile unit, covering roughly a 20-mile radius.

I work on cars, vans, motorcycles, and fleet vehicles. Whether it’s a one-off deep transformation or something you want to maintain long-term, I tailor the service to your needs.

Looking Ahead

My goal is to continue growing DetailingSanctuary and move into a dedicated unit within the next two years. From there, I plan to expand services to include window tinting, advanced ceramic coatings, paint protection film (PPF), and alloy wheel refurbishment.
