Accessibility statement
This site is meant to work for everyone, whatever device or assistive technology you use. Here's what we've done and how to tell us if something doesn't.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That covers things like colour contrast, keyboard access, text that can be resized, and pages that make sense to a screen reader.
What's in place
- Text contrast well above the AA minimum on every colour used.
- Everything usable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring and a "skip to content" link.
- Descriptive alternative text on photographs.
- Animations switched off for anyone with "reduce motion" set on their device.
- Tap targets sized for thumbs on mobile, and text that reflows without needing to zoom.
- Proper headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure.
Known limits
Video clips of work in progress don't have captions, because they have no speech. Before-and-after images are described in text alongside them.
