Every ceramic coating is a complete package: the safe wash, full decontamination with clay bar and a Stage 1 machine polish are all included, so there is nothing to book underneath it. Choose the 2-year, the 5-year, or the 7-year 10H coating; add window ceramic coating for the glass and wheel ceramic coating (from £120 for four faces, or £260 with the wheels off) so brake dust rinses off rather than baking on. Ceramic coating prices below are for a standard car - each size step adds 7%.

Window ceramic

Glass gets contaminated just like paint. The screens are machine polished and clay bar decontaminated first, then coated - so water clears at speed and night-time glare drops noticeably.

How a coating goes on
Roughly 80% of a coating job is preparation. The coating itself is the last hour.
Strip wash
Snow foam pre-wash, wheels and arches first, then a safe two-bucket contact wash to remove all existing protection.
Decontaminate
Iron fallout dissolver, tar removal and a clay bar pass to leave the paint chemically and physically clean.
Polish
Stage 1 machine polish under inspection lighting to lift the gloss and clear light marring before anything is sealed in.
Panel wipe
Every panel wiped down with a solvent to strip polishing oils so the coating can bond directly to the clear coat.
Apply
Coating levelled panel by panel and flashed off at the right moment - too early or too late and you get high spots.
Cure
The car stays dry while the coating hardens. We'll tell you exactly how long before it can get wet.
Inspect
Final walk-round together under light so you can see the finish and we can flag anything to watch.
