Before and after
Drag the handle across any photo below. Same car, same panel, same angle - one before we arrived and one after we left. Nothing here is a stock photo.
What a fortnightly plan actually looks like
This one is on a maintenance plan - we see it every two weeks. So the "before" is not a neglected car. It is fourteen days of ordinary driving on a black paint finish that shows absolutely everything. That is the point of the plan: it never gets far enough to need rescuing, and each visit is short because the last one was thorough.
Front three-quarter · Two weeks of road film off the nose, and the headlight goes back to reflecting the trees.
Rear three-quarter · The engine lid and rear haunch, where dust settles worst on a black car.
Rear bumper and diffuser · The hardest part of any car to keep clean, and the first place a rushed wash misses.
Rear quarter panel · Black paint shows every water spot. This is what a proper two-bucket wash and dry leaves behind.
Cognac leather interior · Light leather shows wear fast. Kept on a fortnightly visit, it never gets a chance to.
Maintenance plans start at £32.50 a visit and begin with a Deep Clean, so there is a proper standard to hold the car at. How the plans work.
When a car has been left longer
Not everything is a fortnightly visit. These are the jobs that take most of a day, where the difference is less about gloss and more about getting a car back to usable.
Mercedes GLC 220d · Rear seat, the six-hour pet hair rescue. Hot water extraction, then every seam by hand.
Jaguar F-Type · Engine bay detail. Degreased, rinsed carefully around the electrics, then dressed.
Boot · The part nobody photographs. Everything out, extracted, and put back.
What these photos are not
They are phone photos taken on the job, in whatever light the day gave us. Same spot, same angle, no studio lighting and no editing beyond cropping them square.
What you will not find here is a wet car photographed as an "after". Water hides almost everything, which is exactly why it gets used. Every after shot on this page is dry.
If you want to see a specific service, the portfolio has the full set, and each service page shows the work that goes into it.
